Yes, you can adjust the temperature within the prescribed range in our product pages. Currently the adjustment cannot be made to our products, however we are working on adding this feature to our products. We’ll update you as soon as it’s ready.

The basic requirements are essentially case by a case basis. There is no restriction on the minimum area. Directional issues can be handled using mechanical ventilation and retrofitting requirements depending on the project and are considered. For large facades, some retrofitting is required but for under-development projects, the system can be incorporated directly rather than as a second skin.

Evaporative cooling is a cheaper option than typical A/C systems, both in terms of material cost as well as power consumption. Furthermore, we have conducted a life cycle analysis of all the materials and processes involved in our system and the net impact of the materials, from the source of raw material to disposal, is lower than common A/C systems and for the materials, we have used. Along with better life cycle impact, components used can be nearly zero waste as all the materials are either recyclable or in the case of terracotta, can be disposed of without any environmental issues. In conventional systems several components like filters are ‘use and throw’ and they accumulate in landfills. Finally, when combined with water recycling systems, they provide good use of wastewater generated at a facility.
As the system depends on evaporative cooling, low humidity, high temperature and windy areas are theoretically the best places to use our systems. However water availability is critical to our systems and this factor must be considered before implementing our system.

As cooling is a by-product of evaporation which in turn adds moisture to the air, the humidity of inlet air can’t be controlled. However, in terms of human comfort, natural cross ventilation, ceiling fans, etc. can bring down humidity to a comfortable level.
Fans and ventilation systems can be omitted in windy climate, provided other factors like outdoor temperature and relative humidity are optimum.
