Envisioning Clean Air
The quality of air can also be accentuated with the help of Beehive. We wanted to scale this idea, create larger public art installations for our cities that are choked with polluted air specially. We are testing if CoolAnt Coral can work for cooling in summers and for purifying air in Winters. In this setup instead of throwing air out, we first suck the air in. This setup is inspired by a Venturi Scrubber where air is washed before releasing back into environment.
Playing with Terracotta
There is a magic that happens when terracotta and water come together. It’s not just the cooling aspect. It is the formation of biofilm on the surface over time. Cultivating moss on these pots accentuate air quality. At serendipity arts festival, Goa we setup ‘Coral’ for the first time where we are testing this prototype at this idea for air purification.
360 Degrees Cooling
With the help of ceramics we are testing this for it performance, strength and also color. We are also working with material experts to increase porous, reduce weight and yet retain strength. Lesser weight means lesser material and cost effective right?
